Started this not sure where its going to end

Sitting here on my daddies porch
In a rocking chair that my grandpa built.
Same place my dad used to be
When he was Rocking me on his knee
He said son when you are a man
There are things that are hard to understand
Hard decisions that are out of your hands
Just do your best and all you that can
Sometimes you’ll make a line in the sand
Hold those values, morals are gold
If you find love you will never get old

It's a great start. I'd say let it turn into whatever it wants to be. Only needs to make sense to you. Keep it up
