That's awesome, re the meetup at the concert!! And I'd seen you mention you did band promotion; that's really cool! Do you do it all on-site or do you do remote stuff too, and the like? I've been interested in getting into something similar for a few local bands myself, as well as (obviously) being interested in SP promotion! And how did you get into that, too? What's it like?

Music Marketing?? That sounds neat!! As a random aside, have you ever heard of Shoutabl, for marketing and social publishing? Was started by an ex coworker of mine, not sure if it'd be useful to you in what you do or not, but... figured it couldn't hurt to mention in case you might find it useful!


And very very cool on the last bit! I'm hoping that eventually I'll get the chance to meet some of the local SPWC around my area, but we'll see what happens, haha!

It still surprises me that I manage to find so many great friends through this band. And they are my favorite kinds of people. The ones that love music and live for shows. I feel like some of my other friends just don't get it and that sucks. But hey, their loss.

Oh yea no I know what you mean. I've converted friends into fans. I'm talking about friends who don't really enjoy going to concerts/aren't passionate about music and bands...

Yea that's their problem. And when I live there you will have a built in concert buddy as a roommate so whatever

Well after the show ends, we go to help collect signatures, organize the sign line for SP, collect golden tickets, usher people out, etc. And then once everyone is gone occasionally Dana and I (not sure about other ambassadors) will help G clean up a bit, count shirts, pack up. So we tend to be there at least an hour after the show ends. Sometimes up to 2 depending.

Absolutely! We can always use help. Just tell G or any ambassadors you see (we usually have a laminate or that backwards writing Sick Puppies shirt on) that you are World Crew, and if there's something they need help with, they'll let you know. Usually help with email sign ups or collecting golden tickets...Some shows we have plenty of ambassadors and others we may have non. We put Amanda to work in Lancaster after just meeting her a few days before, and we put Josh to work in Ohio.
