So, I took my baby brother to his first SP concert on Dec 13 in Colorado Springs! He was so excited about cause he has been wanting to see them since I got him into them a few years ago but he was always too young, but this past year he turned 16 so I figured it was time!

He had so much fun! He is a super chill and calm kid, but the moment SP came on, he was bouncing all other the place and signing along to every song. Everyone was so nice and awesome to him. He was happy that he got to meet them!

No matter how many times I see them, they put on a better show and that was no different (and it was a sold out show)

Just saw my second Sick Puppies show last night in Springfield!!! It was even better than the first! :flash:

This was one of the stops on the Hottest Chicks of Rock Tour, and all the other bands were FANTASTIC (love Lacuna Coil), but luckily for me, I think a lot of the people in this area were there for Lacuna Coil more than any of the other bands. I was very strategic with my placement all night since I knew I lacked the energy to be on the floor the entire five hours, and so during Lacuna's set, I started the slow slink towards the front. There was a lot of jostling when they were done as people went over to their merch table, and before I knew it, I had secured a front spot on the rail for Sick Puppies! Cue the freakout!

This was definitely the best show I've ever been to. Shim remembered me from the pre-show meet and greet and so did Emma, and at the end when Emma gives out picks to people in the front, she gave me a HUGE smile and it was amazing!! Then I got to go meet them AGAIN at the merch table and I was on cloud nine. They really are such an incredible group of people (as well as badass incredible musicians) and it was amazing to FINALLY get to meet them after all these years of listening. Definitely a night I won't forget! Wish I could have gotten a picture with them, but time was short :ugh: Maybe next time??

Just went to the Irving Plaza show in NYC on Monday. Kick ass show! Every band was great! I had never heard of Cilver or Lacuna Coil before and I had heard of Eyes Set To Kill before but had never heard them. I am a fan of all 3 bands now! It was so interactive. The lead singer of Cilver crowd surfed when their set was done, the girls in Eyes Set To Kill were pouring shots at the bar after their set and, of course, the entire audience sang at the top of our lungs with SP! I crocheted roses for my son to give Emma, which he gave her after the encore. He was rewarded with 2 huge smiles and another thank you at the Meet & Greet! I think this has been my favorite SP show so far!

Sounds awesome! Would love to make a show in NYC sometime.

Time is ticking. We will be seeing them soon!

I've come to think that people around my area really aren't big fans of rock concerts. Most of the crowd seems fairly dull at the shows I've attended. I was highly amused at the show this past Wednesday in Worcester, Massachusetts, though. Shim actually went into the audience to pull people forward after asking several times for them to step forward. You just don't stand there with your arms crossed at a Sick Puppies concert!

So, I just recently went to my fourth SP show which also happened to be on my birthday. Despite the freezing cold venue and the 2 and a half hour drive each way it was a lot of fun and got to meet a lot of people from SPWC. I loved that Revolver kind of mixed things up and put together a tour with some different bands that normally probably wouldn't tour with each other. I enjoyed seeing Lacuna Coil, Eyes Set To Kill (which I haven't really listened to until the tour was announced) Cilver was excellent as well and finally got to meet Uliana. The only downside which wasn't a major one was that I had no clue who any of the local bands were.

Just made it to my first ever show; 6th try is the charm! :D

I ended up getting there really, really early because being as short as I am (woo hoo, 5'!), I wanted to make sure I had the chance to get close to the front. Unfortunately after I picked up my ticket and got in line, my stomach decided to say "forget you!" to the dinner i'd gotten at a nearby tavern... so I had to run into the bar next door to ... well. Yeah. lol.

By the time I got back outside, the line had not only doubled, but very nearly quadrupled and I hadn't exactly asked the bloke next to me to save mine before I ran off haha. So... to the back of the line I went. I made it inside and to the merch desk only to find the cash I'd stuck in my back pocket gone... probably fallen out sometime while I was losing my dinner, sadly. So... no shirt for me. :( Sadness! Well, next time!

On the plus side though, while everyone else was buying stuff, I managed to wiggle my way up near the front rail, just behind a few taller folks, where I managed to have a decent view on Emma's side of the stage :D

Watched Glass Delirium, which was really good, enjoyed Cilver and really really liked Eyes Set To Kill; then Lacuna Coil came on and of course we all had fun bouncing around in the front. Nothing like a concert to make friends with strangers! ;)

Then it was time for Sick Puppies. I was squeaking a little bit, due to being so excited... the folks around me I'd been chatting with all night (except the one guy who'd squeezed in and managed to get up to the rail sometime during lacuna coil) were all just as excited, and... well, the girl next to me, she said she'd been to 3-4 shows so far with her little sister. When she learned it was my first time, she promptly moved me over so I could stand behind her little sister, as she was taller than I am. She said "hey, I'm taller, and you're popping your Puppies Cherry!"

The bloke who'd managed to squeeze in also ended up ducking out partway through... he offered his rail spot to the gal who'd moved me behind her sister, who then turned to me and said "get up there, girl!" I didn't have to be told twice!!!

So, my first time where *something* didn't go wrong to cause me to miss it, I'm at the concert of one of my all time favourite bands, and some kind chick bumps me right up to the front, where I get to watch, and video and take pictures without heads in the way, can see and hear and FEEL that base rolling right through my chest... frickin' incredible.

And then to top it all off, somehow... SOMEHOW one of Shim's picks got tossed over to my area of the crowd, and.... nobody caught it. Nobody even seemed to see it. I stood there at the end of the show in a bit of shock when nobody claimed it.... and then BAM! Mine! haha! I now have a pick necklace! :D

I wanted to stay to meet and at least say hi, shake a hand if I could, but by the time I got over my shock at getting a pick and turned to the line, mixed with the unfortunate state my stomach was in (pretty sure I've got food poisoning from that dinner as I've been horking all day today too lol), I decided rather than risk horking on anyone else, I should probably get back to my car, and save the meet and greet for next time... where I'll be keeping my cash in my wallet or in my purse, NOT my back pocket, buying at least a shirt, and hopefully get something signed. :D

For a first time, I'd say it was a pretty darned good concert!

I have been to about 9 sick puppies shows but the most recent was a the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun on November 9th. The venue was free and open to the whole casino so I arrived extra early to ensure I would get in. When Sick Puppies took the stage you could tell that many of the people at the show were not into rock music or just were not interested in crowd participation. To help with this Shim walked out into the crowd several times to force involvement. I loved that he took enough of an interest in the show and the crowd to go out of his way to make people have a good time.

During the show Sick Puppies played many of their classic songs like cancer, and war, but my favorite of the night was gun fight. While the acoustics were not great I felt the band did everything they could to make this show amazing for all the fans that were there. I even ended up with a few picks and a set list to remember the night with.

I went to my first Sick Puppies show on April 10th in Stockholm, Sweden, and had a great time. I went with my sister who also likes their music.
Shim told us several times to move forward and didn't want anyone in the back. There was a girl in the middle Shim said wasn't smiling and wanted her to smile. And another time that she wasn't singing, not even moving her lips. He also wanted everyone to put their hands in the air, and then to put our hands on the shoulders of the person in front of us and said that he didn't care if we didn't know each other and wanted us to jump up and down. They really wanted everyone to have a great time.
Before they played the last song Shim said they would be at the merchandise and that it wasn't over until he had talked to everyone of us.

In the begninning of the show I thought "This is why I have the Tri-Polar rings tattoo". And when Shim talked before they played Maybe I thought "This is why I have the Tri-Polar rings tattoo". It's more than just the music. So much more than just the music. They make you feel like every single one of us is important. That we mean as much to them as they mean to us. When they say they love and appreciate their fans they really mean it.
The Tri-Polar rings are not just the Tri-Polar rings or the Tri-Polar album. It's what Sick Puppies music mean to me. Happiness, love, caring, believing in yourself, following your dreams, being strong, and that it's perfectly fine to be the odd one.

Shim said they will be back in September and if I can I'm definitely going.

So I finally got to see Sick Puppies again and how could I not take advantage of the VIP Experience, so last night off I went to Birmingham waited in the queue for the VIP Experience all by myself and couldn't believe I could be the only one with them fortunately or unfortunately some of the world crew turned up and in we went and heard them Play Asshole Father, Riptide and You're Going Down then for the second gig out of two I got too meet the band and what awesome guys and girls they are. After that we waited for the doors to open and got our ears blasted by Slayer being played through the PA haha.

Onto the support and I had neither heard of Attention Thieves or The Feud and both were excellent especially Attention Thieves as it was one of their guitarists first shows. I highly recommended both and would see them again.

Now Sick Puppies and the moment I had waited for, the show was excellent and the energy and passion the members have are out of this world and I seen very few other bands to rival it and reinforced Emma as one of my favourite bassists. Great set list, only song missing was No Mercy but can't have them all and on top of that was free Champagne and more Slayer to remember the late Jeff Hannemann.

Overall that show will take a lot to beat this year, until I see them again in September.

I've been to the show in Paris and of course it was totally AWESOME! There is no word to describe how excited I was before the show.

The venue took place on a boat and it was a never seen experience. I loved it. I have met so many awesome people.

The concert was  and i think i sing every song with all my heart. Shim, Emma and Mark gave all their heart while playing for us. So much generosity. I really love this band more than ever. We can really feel their passion.

I can't wait to see them again. And i hope i won't have to wait for another 4 years this time :)

It wasn't recent enough, but . . . loved the show at the Mohegan Sun (CT) November 9, 2013

Sure, the venue wasn't the greatest (a little too mellow), but literally standing at Shim's feet was probably one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The music was incredible and, unlike most groups that sound nothing like their albums playing live, Sick Puppies is the real deal. I've seen some of the best groups over the past 20 + years (Motley Crue, Metallica, Aerosmith, AC/DC & more) and I'd rank Sick Puppies among the best I've witnessed. I loved the VIP Session too. I mean, wow! Shim, Mark and Emma didn't just play for us. They spoke to us. Joked with us. Made me feel like they genuinely appreciated us as much as we appreciated them. I can't wait until they come back this way again!

We went to Rockfest 2014 yesterday in Council Bluffs, IA and it was a blast. Saw a lot of cool bands and heard somel fantastic music but best of all there were memories made and dreams that came true. For me it was going to the concert with my girlfriend and being able to visit a moment with the band. Your going down is still my favorite Sick Puppies song, and hearing it live was crazy awesome. Hearing and watching the place go nuts was fantastic. I posted a few shots in Twitter and Facebook, my camera phone sucks but the videos are awesome, I haven't figured that out lol. But I thought I'd just share this.
