what a crappy birthday.

Ok---just to give everyone a little heads up for this show--- these big radio festivals can be kinda tough to figure out who is playing what stage and when.....so I want to make sure all the Sick Puppies fans don't miss out and show up too late.

I got official word (but of course with these festivals--this is subject to change at any time)

Sick Puppies will be on the Second stage and their set is from 2:30p-3:00p.

Just thirty minutes, so its kind of a short set

I hope to see you there. Wouldn't it be cool for Shim, Emma, and Mark to look out into the crowd and see a "sea of people in FREE HUGS shirts.

(I will be there to say hello as well for any of you who want to meet me----just look for the big red-headed guy never very far from the three of them)

I will give you the best answer I can Meridith. LAST YEAR they allowed non-professional cameras/cell phone cameras without any hassle. I would expect it to be the same this year as well. I definitely wouldn't bring much more than a point and shoot digital. (I would NOT bring an SLR)

Here is also a list of things I know they have prohibited in the past as best I can remember

1. Blankets, towels, tarps, umbrellas or lawn chairs---it's either stand or sit on the ground if you didn't get a ticket with an assigned stadium seat--it's Standing Room Only on the center field

2. Binoculars, professional cameras, video or audio recording devices

3. No Food, beverages, bottles or coolers. They even made me throw away my bottle for my bottled water BEFORE I went in---they want you to have to pay for THEIR overpriced bottles of water and food (although if that food vender with the German sausage and fried potatoes is there again I AM FIRST IN LINE FOR THAT STUFF--can you say MMMMM good?)

4. Backpacks, or just about bags of any kind---I know this caused some trouble for girls with big purses last year

5. And obviously any kind of weapon, wallet chains, spikes or spiked clothing. There will be Metal Detectors at the gates

Thank you Stuart! That was very helpful. I'm a little worried about the prohibited bags though, I wounder if that's a no-no for purses as well. :-/

Oh and the signing booth! Do they usually mention when they do that on stage? That's one thing I do not want to miss out on if they do it.

My Suggestion would be to make sure you get there plenty early so you can walk it back to your car should the need arise. If I remember right they had the rules posted on signs in the parking lot when you get there.

And I forgot to answer your other question, I do believe there will be a "meet and greet" although I am not sure of the time or if it will be before or after their set. I know in Houston for Buzzfest, the "Meet and Greet" is actually BEFORE the set.
