SPWC - CONNECT before your local show!

This is just an idea that drifted into my head one day. Obviously, the title of the album triggered it.

Some of us have made plans to meet before the show in Ybor City (Tampa) on Wednesday, giving us a chance to put some faces to names, share experiences, etc., feed off of each other's 'stoke' - in other words: Connecting.

It's not just local SPWC planning to come, there's members from other parts of the country who are coming, how great is that? Who knows, maybe some lifetime friendships will evolve out of this meet-up.

Fortunately, the venue is located within walking distance of a perfect meeting place...and it means that we can make the trip to the Ritz as a group.

I just wanted to put this out there so that if anyone else has thought that it'd be fun to actually meet other SPWC members, this might be something that you'd want to try.

If you do have a 'SPWC Connect' - let us know how it goes. Don't forget to take pics!

Maybe this could be the start of a new SPWC tradition.

I met quite a few fans at the Milwaukee show the same way - we also "connected" when we RSVP on the Event on SPWC FB page and on the forum. We are doing the same for the upcming Chicago show. We also met new friends at the venue as well - wearing your SP attire is a great way to start up a conversation! Tradition - has a great ring to it!!!

I'm happy to know that there's others who enjoy "finding" each other!

I printed up a 'SPWC pre-show meet-up' sheet, with the date & location, for people to sign, then passed it off for an Ambassador to give to them after the show.

Dana - was that Ambassador you? I'm severely challenged when it comes to remembering names! But it was awesome to meet you guys.
