thats awesome. i believe it is an allegory, with her "magic" being her connection with others, how she ruins everything she comes into contact with, then at the end, where she saves the boy and realises that she can have normal relationships without ruining it, then she infact does the opposite and makes it better. 
also on a side note, i noticed the tri polar symbal tagged on a wall. thats awesome, i really hope it gets used more. cause im thinkin of gettin it tattood on my arm
