Nursing a hangover. Shhhhh.

Worked 7 days.
Had 2 days off.
Mowed the lawn with a reel mower, in the process of doing ALL of my laundry.
Messed up what I'd been thinking about making all day for supper.
Ate more than I should have today.
And now finding some relaxation on the boards - while watching Friends.

Eating lunch... Mmm pretzels, popcorn chips, and double fudge cookies... I am not the healthiest person, I know.

Recovering from my first day on the new job and then having to go right to critiquing group. Dessert wine and girlfriend cuddles while watching Star Trek are definitely in order.

Breathing a sigh of relief.

I just finished writing my latest novel. There's still some work to do. I suspect there's going to be a couple of thousand words added before I send it off to my beta readers for their comments.

But it's done. It's been a couple of years in the making and I was starting to wonder if it was ever going to happen.

I'm pondering life... Wondering what it feels like to be a pen, dry of ink. A pen dry of ink is but an empty piece of plastic and metal, set aside to be discarded in the trash... Like garbage. A pen dry of ink, trying to write but just leaving a dent. A pen... Dry of ink.

Well, now that our dryer is fixed...lots and lots of laundry

Planning for the Utah Pride Festival. We've taken "Rising" as our group's theme for the year. They were just glad I didn't suggest STYG.

Watching the new Fear the Walking Dead and eating a root beer float.

I'm watching HGTV......now really small house are a big thing. I don't know if I could live in a tiny house. I would like some space to relax or run around at least.

Listening to some Ghost BC

Just watched the trailer for the new Beauty & the Beast movie...again.

Watching That 70s Show, cuddling with my cat, and trying to get the gumption up to mow my lawn.....
But I'd have to get out of bed.

Monitoring the electrician working in our election building and being naughty by getting on WC forum from a work computer

At my writer's group weekly "Write in" where I am going to FORCE myself to write and not do anything Pride related. At least for a couple of hours ... right after I do this one thing ...

Trying to process stuff right now. My 103 year old grandmother died this morning.
