Finally working my way through the Outlander series. On Drums of Autumn now and loving every single moment of the 1064 pages. So beautifully written.

Finished reading Great Expectations a couple of days ago! I still have mixed fellings about the book. Though gorgeously written, it`s bittersweet I may say and it hurts sometimes.

I picked up my copy of the Letters of Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf again yesterday. It's this EPIC read that has taken me YEARS. I'll pick it up, read a section of letters, curse them for being idiots, put it down, and the cycle continues.

I'm reading Numbers by Rachel Ward. I've been doing this monthly reading challenge and it's making me get around to reading books I've had for a while but never read instead of usually just rereading the same things over and over.

I'm so bad at re-reading books. Sometimes it's easier to re-read a series than to find a new one. Or I'll wait til a couple new books come out & reread the whole series.
I need some new stuff to read. I'm almost done with the Alex Cross books. Thinking of going to another James Patterson series.

Crazy is just fine cause I like where I'm going :sp:

Haha, I do the same thing!! My favorite author is Tess Gerritsen... I think I've probably read her Rizzoli & Isles series at least 5 times. And I always re-read at least the most recent book just before another is released, I like to refresh my memory.

If you like the crime novels, hers are worth a peek at if you've never read them :)

I think I had some actual books of hers before I switched to my Nook. Definitely like the crime novels so maybe I'll check them out. I really need some new authors to check out.

Kathy Reichs is another of my favorite crime novelists, specifically the Temperance Brennan series. Yes, the ones the TV show Bones was VERY loosely based on. The books are infinitely better imo. She's been writing that series since I want to say the late 90's, so there's quite a few available if you haven't read them :)

I just finished Gena Showalter's Everlife series. There's only 2 so far. Now I've started Christopher Moore's Death Merchant Chronicles.

The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon. It's the 5th book in the Outlander series.

Never thought I'd want to go to North Carolina but it's quickly changing my mind :P

I just finished reading "A Dirty Job" and "Secondhand Souls" by Christopher Moore. Not bad. I finished them both in a few days...

Reading Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards!
My bro's been going through all the Discworld books by listening to the audiobooks when he drives to work. He's already beat me to this one
I've read a couple so far but the no-chapter thing still throws me a bit. I'm too used to flicking ahead to see how many pages I've got left in a chapter
"hm how many, three? five? more? oh... that's... that's the whole book left..."
