All I Am

This is a poem that i had to write for my Film II class. It had to be a generalization of ourselves, and this is the best that I could think of.


I color my world with rhythmic shades,
with a nickel paintbrush to get through the days.
Filled with clutter and struggle, no end in sight,
yet my Faith keeps me up in my highest flight.

I hide behind my appearance of woe,
but beneath my mask is the side everyone knows.
The fall is my guide, the pen is my light,
my word is my choice in the final fight.

I hear with my heart, and see with my soul.
I hate to disappoint, even when I am cold.
Nine lives and times to entertain,
I'm here to make everyone go insane.

And that's about it.

My band is The Empty Autumn.
My Nickname is 'Tails'.
and I have but two needs to live in life to make it full.
"All I Need's A Guitar and a Girl"
