You didn't like Real Steel? I thought it was pretty good. And I agree on you about being surprised on Puss in Boots. After the Shrek 3 and 4 trainwrecks, I thought nothing good would ever come from them again.

Anyway, I haven't seen many movies this year, so my list is going to be a little small...

On seconf thought, I've actually seen a lot more movies than I thought I had.

haha i've seen many of those movies but my awful memory didn't allow me to put them in my lists.

i didn't like Pirates of the Caribbean..it wasn't the same without bloom/knightly lol

not a harry potter fan, but it was decent.
captain america/x-men/rango/the green hornet/gnomeo and juliet were good in my opinion

i saw super 8 in theatres and loved it, just watched the dvd last night. breaking dawn was better than i was expecting, but still not great. the whole part with the wolves yelling at eachother was too much.
paranormal activity was a let down, my boyfriend and i laughed our way through it.
i saw dont be afraid of the dark and really liked it :]
i currently want to see the new muppet movie, i heard it was really good.

wasnt a fan of insidious, it was so twisty and turny i had a hard time taking it seriously. and gnomeo and juliet was entertaining.

^Wow, pretty good lists! Nice to see people with good taste in film. I agree about the Paranormal Activity movies (once you're an Atheist, nothing supernatural has any effect on you). I liked "Real Steel" though, it wasn't a classic or great by any means, but it was a surprisingly enjoyable popcorn film.

I'm still working on my annual Top 10 films list (since I still need to see "Like Crazy", "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows", Young Adult", and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"), but I'll share my Good/Okay/Bad list as well.
