Sweet nostalgia, never realized these older cartoons were actually quite smart:

OMG!! Animaniacs was one of my FAVORITE cartoons when I was younger.

I also was religious about watching Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toons, Looney Tunes, TMNT, and my mom was a huge fan of Freakazoid even though it didn't last long.

Freakazoid! totally forgot about that one lol.

I loved Tiny Toons too along with Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Hey Arnold, Doug, Johnny Bravo. I can't believe they're all considered at least semi-old now. PPG began in 1998! Where did the time go? I feel old =[

Some of you probably won't even remember these but my faves were Josie and the Pussycats, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Fraggle Rock , Muppets ... and the best ever was... The Mighty Heroes ! Cuckoo Man was awesome
Anything Looney Tunes - but Gossamer was the best . I still look for stuff with him on it and never have any luck.
Sid and Marty Kroft stuff was great too - Sigmund the Sea Monster was too cute.
I wish I had all of those on tape , I would definitely watch them !

FRAGGLE ROCK OMG!!

I was obsessed with that!

And I was always a fan of Gossamer too. My mom's favorite was Marvin the Martian.

I'm familiar with Josie, The Jetsons, and The Flintstones. But I always preferred Tom & Jerry lol.

.....Looney Tunes is a classic! my favorite was Pepe Le Pew for some reason, still is, haha.

Looney Tunes always a fave and I'm so happy that Colter has gotten into Tom & Jerry. Fraggle Rock was AWESOME....gosh I miss that one.

My mom and I were both huge fans of Pinky and the Brain. She even had a Pinky lapel pin in the sun visor in the car for the longest time. Some of the others you guys mentioned, I was growing out of a bit when they came out.

Aaah man. I love Pinky and the Brain and Tom and Jerry, for old cartoons. And then, Dexter's Lab, Catdog, and Hey Arnold  . I miss those shows, man.

The cartoons I watched the most when I was a kid were probably Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Bright, Unico (which I think was actually an anime movie, I'd be surprised if anyone else ever heard of it), and My Little Ponies.

People talking about Tiny Toons, Powerpuff Girls, etc...as being the cartoons they watched as children makes me feel REALLY old.

I'll NEVER look at the Smurfs the same again after Donnie Darko and now South Park too

....Transformers was rad though, I loved Bumblebee and still have my action figure. Too bad Michael Bay is completely ruining the movies though. Well the first was pretty good, maybe because it was a novelty but who knows. The new one, however, so awful

I'm an avid Smurfs fan myself but I really loved G.I. Joe, Masters Of The Universe, and Thundercats! One thing about the Smurfs I never figured out was why is there only one female Smurf and like a bajillion of the male variety...very weird. Please somebody investigate this matter so I can get some sleep.

My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.
