Welp... hiya everybody!
I signed up here a few years ago... but never really got around to posting, because right after I signed up here, my life kind of .... imploded around me and went through a whirlwind of changes.
I'm back though!
I'm Paige, also known as Daez!
My story about how I fell in love with the Sick Puppies music is... really pretty long, and I'll be honest, I'm not sure I have the courage to post about it just yet (seeing them live monday only just recently gave me the courage to even write about it) so I'll just say that it quite literally helped to change my life =)
It took 5 states (and missed concerts at them all - when they were in wyoming, I ended up with food poisoning. here again in colorado, an ex ripped up the tickets, in california, we just happened to be in town the same night, but they were all sold out at the box office. In florida, what started as an ER visit ended in a week-long hospital stay so I missed it again, and when they were in tempe last year, my car died on I-17 before I even made it to Phoenix!) and 4 years, but I finally got to see the band for the first time Monday, 3/10/14 here in Denver at the Summit... and it was everything and more than I could have hoped it would be.
I'm also glad to be back here on SPWC; now that my life has (finally!) settled down a bit, I can't wait to get to know my fellow fans, and maybe make some new friends both locally and all over the world! For there's one thing music always does... it manages to unite people you'd never have met otherwise.
So.... HELLO!
