Misheard Lyrics

ok so I don't believe there's a thread for this so Ihave quite a few...
All The Same:
what I heard - we're all alright
what it really says - wrong or right

Too Many Words:
what I heard - I tried to balance these lies that we're living
what it really says - I’ve tried to balance these lives that we are living

Anywhere But Here:

what I heard - Are the memories weeping in me
what it really says - Are the memories we barely made

what I heard - My confusion left me fast as the verge of cocaine
what it really says - My confusion left me fast as the vertigo came

what I heard - Broken up plans we made
what it really says - Broken are plans we made

=P

nothing to big just thought I'd share, those are all I remember although I'm pretty sure there's more.

feel free to post anything you misheard as well (I got the idea from evthreads =P)

I've had a couple, but I can only remember these two:

"Anywhere But Here"
- "... it was only a dream believed in me"
when it's supposed to be "... that lived in me"

"Too Many Words"
- "I reached out, fell short, now you've heard too many words."
when it's supposed to be "... you're hurt, too many words."

funny thread ! I did have a few but at the moment I can only think of this one:

Anywhere but Here

what I thought: I slide from paranoid to paradise

what is said: I slide from paranoid to paralyzed

That'd be nice.... to slide from paranoid to paradise. If I had the choice I'd pick that instead of being paralyzed...

I heard the "believed in me" and "paranoid to paradise" as well until I looked it up.

There's a few mishearings I've had, I'll have to look at it one day and remember to share them later.

in "What Are You Looking For"

I thought it was, "You won't be thinking because when.."
when it was really, "You won't be thinking of cars when...'

I still think the real one makes no sense

Lol, seriously.
I don't think it makes any sense, either.
"of cars?" come on now. :p
But yeah, that got me too.

^^^^^ its about materialism and how objects seem important at the time but one day you will realize that object will not really make you happy in life.

I don't know, when I think happiness I generally don't think cars or material possessions

^^^^^ I dont think like that either but alot of people think that they need more materials and bigger expensive crap to be happy, I know a few people like that, but hopefully they wil wake up one day.

I always thought that too! I liked it that way actually... I thought the whole thing was:
"If you can't beat' em might as well lead 'em
no ones getting out of line..."

All right, in the song "Cancer" I've always thought (and never bothered to check) that the beginning started out with:

"Preach me your religion if you don't end up to pray"

or is it

"Preach me your religion if you're dumb enough to pray"
